Minecraft Now Highlights

 

 Another month, another Minecraft Now event! Here are some highlights from the livestream, broken down into segments.

Kicking things off!

Vu Bui introduces us to Agnes and Ingela. Ingela has been on the team for a year and a half and is now an executive producer who works hard to make sure people are happy. Minecraft Now, now has in-game voting. They also address the concerns about the player report, the FAQ can be found Here.

Building Session

Building Session mainly had the guests building while answering questions. Agnes likes the sign block while Ingela likes the glass block. Favorite mobs for Ingela are cats, while Agnes loves the sheep. Their answers to the first two questions, they were given a building challenge. build with only their favorite blocks and theme it around the mobs they chose. 

 They let chat ask some questions, one being about music while another about favorite updates. Vu asked Ingela how many people are on the team. The core game team is now up to 80 people! She goes further into all the teams they have. They plan on keep updating the game for as long term as they can. 

 Question: What do you have planned for Minecraft live? Agnes gives us the date for this year's Minecraft Live event, set your calendars for October 15! They want to celebrate Minecraft and also learn from mistakes. There was a lot of talk about dreams and making sure they are confident in what they are bringing. 

 More chat questions such as how they find inspiration and what is most fun working for Minecraft. 

Block Buzz

Vu is joined by  Jewel during this segment, she talks about Minecraft Legends and also about articles about mobs on the Minecraft website. Which can be found Here.

Mojang Builds

The guests for this section were Anna and Cameron. This section was mainly showing off an art museum on the Mojang Studios server.

You Made IT!

This segment was Vu showing off things players have made. They have a hashtag, #minecraftnowsubmit for you to submit art and builds. last month was mangrove themed.

Mini Game

Ending the stream with a mini-game, enderdragon won the in-game vote! Anna and Cameron had 5 minutes to get through a parkour course while ender dragons fly around. It was a team effort, both having to make it to the top together in order to win.

 Minecraft now will return next month on October 27th. Minecraft live will be on October 15th.
